Law

Visual storytelling of Charles Bukowski’s Law — a 16-page editorial experiment depicting themes of blind obedience, restriction, and freedom.

The design centers on three key visual elements: the golden rectangle (law), a shifting black cloud (compliance), and the background (possibility). Printed on metallic gold paper to enhance a cold, distant atmosphere, the minimalist composition emphasizes strong contrasts and restraint. The layout follows the poem’s rhythm — a steady repetition that mirrors the slow, quiet acceptance of surrounding events, until one becomes part of them.

Digital print on paper, hand-sewn binding.
